1. Why are you building a web site?

2. What type of site will it be? Will it be an e-commerce, database, informational, interactive site, personal etc, or a combination of these?

3. Do you have a targeted audience that you want to reach and why do you want to reach them? What do you have to offer them?

4. What do you want people to gain by visiting your site? Think about what you would want to see if you were the customer visiting your site.

5. How much information do you have that will inform them of who you are and what you are about?

6. Have as much information ready in digital format as possible that will explain who you are , your goals and your accomplishments. If you are selling something have a description and price for each item. If it is a service etc, you should have the proper information prepared and ready. You might consider a vision statement. If you are a minister/ministry you should also have a statement of faith for your viewers to read.

7. If you are building an e-commerce site what form of payment will you offer your customer? Will it be credit card , check , money order? Have you contacted the credit card company of your choice to set up an account with them? (I recommend Paypal, but there are many resources to choose from)

8. Will you be wanting to add media such as, Flash movie intros, steaming audio and/or video? If so, is it in digital format and ready to be placed on your web site? (If not we are capable of doing it for you.)

9. Do you have a logo ready? Be ready to provide any pictures and/or graphics that you may already have that are pertinent to your organization or company. (We offer graphic designs)

10. Will you want live chat on your site to further serve your targeted audience? Will you want to hold a forum, guest book or some means of contact and/or interaction?

11. What color scheme do you want throughout your site? Are there sites you want to link to? Are there any affiliations that will be on your site? Is there a site you really like and would like your site to favor?

12. Will you want a contract for ongoing maintenance or just pay the hourly rate when changes are made?

13. Will we be hosting your site or someone else? What do you want your domain name to be?

14. What is your budget?
